Filters

I used image capture to scan in my work for my project called Surrounding. I then opened the image in Photoshop to filter the image.

I filtered this image by Clicking "Filter", "Render" and clicked on "Difference Clouds"

I did this by clicking "Filter" and "Texture" and then "Craquelure"

Image Size

I changed the image size by going onto Photoshop, clicking "Image" "image Size" and changed the resolution to 72 DPI. This gave me a smaller sized image.

Research

I was given a brief on Surroundings. Surrounding covers a large area, so I chose Nature for my surroundings. I was told to research on artists that do work related to nature, so I found some artists. They are Rachael Taylor, Andy Goldsworthy, Jo Stealy, Delia Pusey and Maggie Louden. I put these pictures on the Blogger by taking screen shots from Microsoft Word. I did this by pressing 'cmd' 'SHIFT' and '3'. I then opened the screen shot in Photoshop then I pressed 'cmd' 'SHIFT' and '4' and I selected the area I wanted, I then uploaded the pictures onto the Blogger.

Colour Wheel

The colour wheel you can see at the top was done with Claire.

I was told I could change the sheet to how I wanted it to be so I mades to it on the computer.

My tutor, Claire, gave me a sheet to fill in about Emotion and Colour and had to write our feelings towards the different colours. This really helped because it made it easier for me to decide which colours I would like choose for my work.
